Nancy Adlman, LCSW
Nancy Adlman is the Director of NYC Inner Healing & Psychotherapy. She has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist for over 30 years and a Shamanic Practitioner for over 20 years. She has post-masters training in Family and Couples Therapy and did doctoral work in Social Work and Social Policy.
Nancy offers a unique blend of psychotherapeutic methods and ancient wisdom teachings and interventions, including Native American Spirituality, Eastern Traditions, and Peruvian Shamanism. For over 10 years, she conducted a monthly wisdom circle -- a group experience providing profound transformational healing. She continues to offer professional workshops and trainings, having done so for many years.
Nancy is the author of "Messages from the Dream Body," a collection of poems and pastels depicting a dreamscape of an Urban Shaman's Journey.
"In traditional therapy or counseling, clients may have insight into their patterns or know what they need to do to transform their lives. However, in Shamanic Counseling, the mentoring and guidance that clients receive from spiritual helpers and teachers in the Shamanic realm bring profound shifts in energies and old patterns that no longer serve the client.
